Royal Mail Strike Action to effect deliveries

Royal Mail Strikes

Latest update 29th November 2022.

We are expecting significant disruption to our delivery services due to the planned strike action by Royal Mail on the following dates

  • Wednesday 30th November
  • Thursday 1st December
  • Friday 9th December
  • Sunday 11th December

How will this affect dispatch times?

  • We are expecting no parcels to be collected by Royal Mail on the dates listed below.
  • Any orders on Economy or Standard Shipping services due for dispatch on these dates will be dispatched on the next working day.
    • Wednesday 30th November
    • Thursday 1st December
    • Friday 9th December

How will this affect delivery times?

Royal Mail will prioritise all Next Day and Tracked 24 parcels for delivery on days when strike action is taking place. However, significantly reduced resources mean there will be a delay to some deliveries.

There is expected to be delays on all Tracked 48 and 2nd class parcels around the time when strike action is taking place. There will be no parcel deliveries from Royal Mail on the below dates:

  • Wednesday 30th November
  • Thursday 1st December
  • Friday 9th December

Where possible we will send any Express Orders with DHL to avoid any delays.

We will notify you by email when your order has been dispatched from our warehouse.

How will this affect returns?

We are expecting there to be delays receiving parcels arriving back at our warehouse around the time when strike action is taking place. We advise against returning any items to us on the strike days as well as the few days before to avoid items getting lost.

Please order early if you can

Unfortunately these delays are beyond our control but we will do everything we can to get your order to you as soon as possible during the time when strike action is taking place.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
