Description
Shoulder harnesses have in recent times replaced the H back harness as the alternative to the X-Back, with greater versatility, this harness has a wide range of functions making it the best harness for a first time purchaser. This harness is ideal as a walking/ tracking harness, but can also double up for use in canicross, bikejoring or dog scootering.
This Dog Shoulder Harness has the same fitted neck and breastplate as our X-Back Harness with a D-ring (padded with neoprene) sewn near the centre of the dog's back. It has a floating cinch which uses a single side release snap (padded with neoprene) to close. Great for stopping escape artists!
The harness allows a center of the back point of attachment. It can also be used as a walking harness as there is a D-ring attachment point on the neck. The additional ring at the top of the harness can be used to attach the harness to the collar to help prevent the dog backing out of the harness. (Please note that some of the smaller sized harnesses may only have 1 ring due to the size).

Measuring Guide
We require only one measurement for this Harness: the Neck.
Neck - Measure from just ahead of the withers at the base of the neck to the top of the breastbone, then double this measurement. Work the tape under the fur; pull it snug, but not stretched. Measure the dog, not the fur!
Measure only one side of the dog, and then double the measurement. Wrapping the tape measure all the way around the neck may distort the measurement.
Do not measure where the collar sits, but lower - please see the heavy black line on the above diagram.
