Canicross - all the gear

We offer a wide range of dog harnesses, lines, belts and other canicross equipment to make sure that you and your dog can get the maximum amount of enjoyment from the sport. Running with your dog offers numerous health benefits for both you and your beloved canine companion. All breeds of dog need to get out for at least one walk per day, but many working dogs such as Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes or Samoyeds need to get out in the fresh air far more often than this. Therefore, running with your dog is a great way to keep you both in shape whilst having fun.

One of the most attractive aspects of canicross and running with your dog is its simplicity - purchase a few pieces of canicross equipment and you're ready to get out and get active. All you need is a canicross belt, which sits around your waist or hips allowing for hands-free running, a bungee line to connect you and your dog, and a canicross harness for your dog, which is comfortable and secure.

If you are just starting out and have any questions, then get in touch with us or check out our Canicross - where to begin article. You may find our guide about how to measure your dog for various different canicross dog harnesses useful when you come to make a purchase. You need to make sure that you measure the dog, not the fur! If the neck size is too small it will cut, bruise or choke your sled dog, whereas if it is too large, the harness will slip, rub and interfere with movement so correct sizing is crucial and we're happy to help.
