Flash Dog Harness with a fully reflective design

Add to wishlist

The Flash™ Harness is another great harness from Howling Dog Alaska! The Flash™ Dog Harness features a revolutionary full reflective design.

The Flash™ Dog Harness is for those who like the Second Skin or Tough Skin harnesses, but need something that enhances night time visibility. It's great for low light activities or if you train at night.

The harness is light and ultra-modern and is made out of soft mesh fabric. The Flash™ Dog Harness features a reflective shell protecting the outside of the harness. The Flash™ Harness is very comfortable for the dog to wear and it is suitable for any activity where the point of attachment is higher or even with the dog’s back. This includes skijoring, bikejoring, dog scootering, canicross as well as sledding. The length of the Flash™ Harness (including the tug loop) is about the same as the length of a regular x-back harness. But unlike an x-back harness, the Flash™ Harness will relieve the pressure off the dog’s hips.

For proper harness fit, measure the dog's neck circumference half way between the usual collar position and shoulder blades. Not sure about size? Go by the weight of your dog.

Small = 18.5 - 19 inches (40 - 49 lbs / 17 - 22 kg)

Medium = 19.5 - 20 inches (50 - 59 lbs / 22 - 26 kg)

Large = 20.5 - 21 inches (60 - 69 lbs / 27 - 31 kg)

XX-Large = 22.5 - 23 inches (80 - 89 lbs / 36 - 40 kg)

Measuring Guide

We require only one measurement for this Harness: the Neck.

Neck - Measure from just ahead of the withers at the base of the neck to the top of the breastbone, then double this measurement. Work the tape under the fur; pull it snug, but not stretched. Measure the dog, not the fur!

Measure only one side of the dog, and then double the measurement. Wrapping the tape measure all the way around the neck may distort the measurement.

Do not measure where the collar sits, but lower - please see the heavy black line on the above diagram.
