WAW Basic is an anti-shock system created with the help of vets and dog trainers to keep correct the dog’s position and to harmonize the walk.
The jerk trauma is reduced to guarantee dog’s health (no matter the size).
WAW distinctive element is its “deformable expander” which guarantees a progressive soft release each time the dog pulls. Therefore, each time the dog pulls WAW slowly lengthens and, when the dog releases, it slowly gets back to its starting position.
The biggest benefits?
For dogs: avoid the appearance of micro and macro injuries to the spine and neck (often overlooked problem for small dogs!)
For human: keep control of the dog and avoid unwanted shoulder strains (dog owners over 15 kilos will know exactly what we’re talking about!)
HOW DOES WAW WORK?It works in a very simple way:
Does you dog pull strongly? WAW starts immediately stretching with a slight resistance at the beginning. The resistance is proportional to jerk intensity and its duration.
Tests done by experts show how WAW absorbs and reduces up to 40% of the jerk stress.
YOUR DOG WALKS WITH YOU WITHOUT PULLING,
IN THE MEANWHILE WAW MONITORS YOUR WALK DISCREETLY.
YOUR DOG HAS JUST SEEN A CAT!
WAW STRETCHES AND ABS ORBS THE JERK.
- 1. WAW When pulling, WAW guarantees a progressive soft release: each time the dog pulls, WAW slowly lengthens and when the dog releases, WAW gets back to its starting position. Therefore the dog and its walker always keep a proper posture, and walks become relaxing and safe for both of them.
- 2. ORDINARY LEADS The major issue with ordinary leads is stiffness. The lack of cushioning can cause in the dog and its walker potential trauma and threaten their safety. Furthermore, with ordinary leads the animal and walkers's barycentre is unstable, threatening stability and balance.
- 3. ELASTICS OR SPRINGS with this kind of lead the problem is the extreme elasticity: suddenly, after a decisive jerk, the dog can be out of the walker's control, with all that can occur then. During traction, leads, spring and elastics alter the dogs posture to the so called "Pendulum Effect" which is extremely risky for the cervical segment. WAW, on the other hand, keeps the animals (and its owner's) natural position unchanged, therefore your dog keeps moving freely as if it were alone.
